    Interview Summary
    Dušan Babić, born in 1932 in Veliko Palanciste in the former Yugoslavia, describes his father being sent to Germany as a prisoner of war because of his involvement in the Yugoslav Army; Ustaša forces burning his village; the Kozara offensive during which he escaped capture by Ustaša forces; a roundup of his village by German troops in 1942; his transfer to the Ustaša; the murder of his family and members of his village at Vujcice by the Ustaša; his escape from the massacre; finding his grandmother in Verici village; warning people in other villages of the massacre so that they could hide; going to Saljevac to bury corpses; and his father's return after the war.
