    Interview Summary
    An account of the efforts of citizens in Denmark and Norway to guide Jews across their borders to safety in Sweden. Raoul Wallenberg’s and Count Folke Bernadotte’s stories of rescue are featured in this film, along with the story of how the government of Finland aided its Jewish community while that country was still allied with Nazi Germany in their common war against the Soviet Union.

    Sy Rotter, founder of the Foundation for Moral Courage, donated the documentary film "Rescue in Scandinavia" to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in October 2009. The film was produced by the Foundation for Moral Courage for broadcast on educational television in 1994.
