The Bulgarian National Bank is the central bank of the Republic of Bulgaria with its headquarters in Sofia. It is one of the oldest national institutions established right after the restoration of the Bulgarian state, on January 25, 1879.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the T︠S︡entralen dŭrzhaven arkhiv (Bulgaria) via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in April 2013, and accretion in Nov. 2013. This is an ongoing project.
