- United States Army Europe (USAREUR) collected the death certificates and the Tagebuch as evidence in a war crimes case 000-50-9. The materials form part of the series of War Crimes Case Files in National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), RG 338. United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilm reel on May 12, 1998.
