    Interview Summary
    André Richard describes being a singer in the Théâtre National de l'Opéra in Paris; joining the French Resistance movement under Major Bordé and Colonel Goisé's command during the German occupation; being a lieutenant in La Marseillaise group; his thoughts on the birth of the Resistance movement; working in the Turenne group led by Colonel Goisé at the beginning of the Resistance; the risk of being involved with the Resistance; his admiration for General Charles de Gaulle; his sympathy for the plight of the Jews under German occupation; and his defense of liberty and his belief that religion divides people.
