    Biography
Bernhard Weinberg (1872-1943) was born on 30 January 1872 in Czernowitz (Chernivtsi, Ukraine) to Moses Weinberg and Rachel Gottlieb. His wife Lotte Weinberg (née Zimbler, 1873-1942) was born on 10 April 1873 in Sadagora (Sadhora, Ukraine). Their daughter Regina Weinberg was born on 17 September 1912 in Lviv, Ukraine. The family lived in Vienna, Austria. Bernhard and Lotte corresponded with cousins Max, Paul, and Sophia Steinberg in Chicago, Il prior to World War II, and it is likely that Regina immigrated to England in 1939, and later immigrated to the United States. Bernhard and Lotte were deported from Vienna on 9 October 1942 to Theresienstadt. Lotte perished at the camp on 25 October 1942 and Bernard perished on 15 February 1943.
