    Film Provenance
Ann Major contributed her grandfather's film collection for study and analysis to Snowden Becker's graduate level seminar on home movies at the University of California at Los Angeles in Spring 2016. Ms. Becker contacted the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's film archivist about Major's home movies of Europe and Ms. Major then donated 18 of the 42 original 16mm films to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in November 2016.
    Note
The reversal print (FV4249.2) was digitized in March 2018 at Colorlab and contains mostly the same content as Film ID 4249.1 (the AGFA original). The digital file runs 17:06 minutes. This reversal print labeled "Germany II 1934" is missing the opening title: "HITLERJUGEND” (16 seconds).
