- Anna and Bocko Mayo recorded on 16mm film their three month journey to Kastoria, Greece to visit family and pursue philanthropic interests in 1937. The granddaughter of Anna Mayo's brother, Ms. Andrea Matza Grass, donated a digital transfer of these original black and white and color films to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum via Larry Confino in May 2017.
- Note
- Footage from the Anna and Bocko Mayo Collection was featured in the 2016 documentary "Trezoros" directed by Larry Confino and Lawrence Russo. The film illustrates the Greek Sephardic community of Kastoria. Of the 1000 Jews who lived in Kastoria before the Holocaust, only 35 survived.
