    Edith Reinstein (née Ambaras), born on July 2, 1914 in Warsaw, Poland, discusses her marriage and child prewar; the death of her husband; not knowing what happened to her child; internment in Warsaw ghetto from 1939 to 1942; internment in Majdanek concentration camp from 1942 to 1943; internment in Trawniki concentration camp from April to October 1943; internment in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp from February 1944 until liberation on April 15 1945; Himmler giving better care to women laborers cleaning the camp kitchen; the assignment helping her survive; living in Bergen-Belsen displaced persons camp from April to October 1945; meeting her second husband; living in the American Zone; and arriving in the United States on March 9, 1949.
