    Collection Summary
    The Jonas family collection consists of passports, photographs, identification cards, correspondence, documents, and photograph albums illustrating the experiences of Otto Jonas and his wife Hildegard Levy Jonas and their son, Peter, who fled Nazi Germany in 1938 for the United States. The collection also includes dried flowers clipped and saved by Hildegard Levy Jonas in the 1930s and an oral history interview with Otto Jonas.
    Provenance
    Donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2023 by Rosalyn Levy Jonas.
