- Nine photographs, some with captions, taken in April 1945 by American GI Daniel Glick, documenting the Buchenwald concentration camp in the immediate aftermath of the camp's liberation. These images differ from typical liberation photographs from Buchenwald and depict general camp views as well as some of the victims and survivors that Glick encountered.

Daniel Glick was born circa 1923, served with the 69th Signal Battalion, XXth Corps, Third Army in Europe during World War II, and visited the Buchenwald concentration camp shortly after its liberation. As a Jewish American soldier, he was able to use his fluent Yiddish to communicate with Holocaust survivors and serve as an interpreter for his comrades.
