- Event History
- Migdalor (literally, Lighthouse) was a maritime hachshara (Zionist collective) established by Jewish DPs in Fano, Italy, where young Jewish men and women were trained in the construction and operation of small fishing vessels in preparation for immigration to Palestine. With the help of a Yugoslav expert and Italian instructors, members of the hachshara constructed a fishing boat they named Harishona (The First), which they later sailed to Palestine.
