- Rededication of the replacement "Yama" memorial.
Monument placed on the site of the mass grave where Jews from the Minsk ghetto were killed 1941-43. The original monument was created immediately after the war by survivors and victims' relatives, and later replaced with this black marble monument. At present it is a part of a larger memorial complex called "Yama" ('ditch' in Russian), at the intersection of Melnikaite and Zaslavskaya streets in Minsk.
