Original caption reads, "Pile of bodies which will be carried by German civilians from the town of Landsberg, Germany, and buried in graves also dug by German civilians in Stalag #4 Concentration Camp at Landsberg. These are the bodies of political prisoners, starved and burned to death by S.S. troops at the prison."
