- Ben James (born Binem Jachimowicz ) was born in Piotrkow Trybunalski. After living in the Piotrkow ghetto, Binem was sent to a series of concentration and labor camps, including Belzec, Hrubieszow, Czestochowa and Buchenwald. He survived the war.
