These dynamics include the actual communications between representatives of different groups, changes in the moral and religious language that is used in the discourse, changes in the positions of the respective groups with respect to larger issues as well as to their relationship with one another, and the effect of these changes on the larger organization itself. This dissertation will explore these dynamics in an historical case study of the National Conference of Christians and Jews (NCCJ), an interfaith organization in the United States that was founded in 1928. 530 Electronic version(s) available online. 590 Dissertations and Theses 591 Record updated by Marcive processing 21 June 2024 610 20 National Conference of Christians and Jews |xHistory. 650 0 Christianity and other religions |xJudaism. 650 0 Judaism |xRelations |xChristianity. 650 0 Jews |zUnited States |xAttitudes. 650 0 Christians |zUnited States |xAttitudes. 610 27 National Conference of Christians and Jews. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00528862 655 7 Academic theses. |2lcgft 856 42 |3ProQuest, Abstract |uhttp://gateway.proquest.com/openurl?url_ver=Z39.88-2004&rft_val_fmt=info:ofi/fmt:kev:mtx:dissertation&res_dat=xri:pqm&rft_dat=xri:pqdiss:3506023 956 41 |uhttp://dc.ushmm.org/library/bib240617/3506023.pdf |zHosted by USHMM. 852 |bebook 852 0 |breceiving |kShelved at 79-2-2
