In this book, a historian, a connoisseur of Vilnius, G. Agranovsky with the help of the archivist Galina Baranova, presents the most important events in the history of the Lithuanian Jews (Litvaks), telling about significant and interesting personalities. After the restoration of the independence of Lithuania, many authors have already made attempts to study the history and life environment of the Litvaks.
