On the other hand I was amazed that historians were willing to cite Ucko?s ideas uncritically, even though he had not made use of footnotes or other references to primary sources meaning that his work, and the ideas expressed, could not be checked. This was all the more remarkable since Ucko had published only one article and it might as well be the product of a writer with a lot of imagination. That is why I set out to analyze his work and look for the primary sources Ucko had used. 591 Record updated by Marcive processing 21 June 2024 600 10 Ucko, Henri Zvi, |d1910-1995. 650 0 Rabbis |zDominican Republic. 650 0 Jews, German |zDominican Republic. 650 0 Sephardim |zDominican Republic |xHistory. 650 0 Jews |zDominican Republic |xHistory. 650 0 Jewish refugees |zDominican Republic. 650 7 Jewish refugees. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01730523 650 7 Jews. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00983135 650 7 Jews, German. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00983458 650 7 Rabbis. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01086311 650 7 Sephardim. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01112767 651 7 Dominican Republic. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01206148 655 7 History. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01411628 852 0 |bstacks |hF1941.J4 |iS54 2017
