These film texts are considered for the way in which the filmmakers, in autobiographical accounts of their own lives or of the main characters, have explored and recreated history through individual memory. Memories of childhood in Nazi Germany are constructed from personal remembrance and experience to form a memory of the individual that is unaccounted for in the standard institutional history. 530 Electronic version(s) |bavailable internally at USHMM. 533 Photocopy. |bAnn Arbor, Mich. : |cUMI Dissertation Services, |d1996. |e23 cm. 590 Dissertations and Theses 591 Record updated by Marcive processing 21 June 2024 650 0 National socialism in motion pictures. 650 0 Women motion picture producers and directors. 856 41 |uhttp://proquest.umi.com/pqdweb?did=747891071&sid=6&Fmt=6&clientId=54617&RQT=309&VName=PQD |zElectronic version from ProQuest 956 41 |u http://dc.ushmm.org/library/bib27546/1355172.pdf |z Hosted by USHMM. 852 0 |bstacks |hPN1995.9.N36 B58 1993 852 |bwww 852 0 |bebook
