Notes: This document, and the research contained, is the work of Miriam Selwyn (great granddaughter of Flora and Baruch Goldschmied / Barnett Goldsmith).

Barnett and his siblings' birth family were from Klasno. Towards the end of the 18th century, Klasno became merged into Wieliczka, which is about ten miles from Krakow, and part of the greater Krakow district. Baruch Hirsch and Rachela Temerle moved from Klasno to Podgorze, in Krakow.
