A Jew from Hungary a film by Naomi Rubinstein-Azar.
Naomi Azar takes a trip back to Hungary with her parents and films their until then untold stories of their experiences during the Holocaust. Yardena and Haim Rubinstein speak about the struggle between nostalgia for Hungarian traditions and anger at their fellow Hungarians; the tension between the need to erase the effects of the Holocaust on their lives and the need to remember. The filmmaker also reflects on the effects of the Holocaust on her and her family.
