Drei Tage im April Three days in April / Buch und Regie, Oliver Storz ; Eine Co-Produktion des Süddeutschen Rundfunks mit ORF und ARTE.

Publication

During the final days of WWII, Hitler's retreating troops abandon three railcars filled with concentration camp survivors in a small town in Southern Germany. The reality of the Holocaust and the lack of action or compassion by the townspeople horrifies Anna, an innkeeper's daughter and the focus of the film. Loosely based on an actual incident that occurred in Apr. 1945.
