Examines Franklin D. Roosevelt's relationship with the Jews, his efforts to admit Jewish refugees prior to World War II, his attempts to obtain accurate information during the war, and his focus on winning the war in Europe as the only way to rescue the Jews. Also looks at the attitudes and beliefs of European Jews and their lack of understanding of the true nature of Hitler's regime until it was too late.
