    Overview

    Collection Summary
Peter Veres came from a wealthy Hungarian Jewish family. Two reels of 9.5mm film show Peter and the family before the war in Budapest, as well as scenes depicting a forced labor battalion in which Peter’s father served. Peter was hidden during the war and survived, as did most members of his immediate family. The Veres Family Collection (1830s-1987) documents members of the Deutsch, Krausz, and Veres families.
