A War Department Film. Army-Navy Screen Magazine, no. 75
Reel 2: European children roaming among debris, hunger lines and mobs contrasted with peaceful suburbs in the US and loss of US soldiers abroad: "Those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it." Emphasis on international teamwork to help refugees, teach children, and rebuild/restore/repair nations. Ruins are cleared. Money pitch: "The price of peace." Ill and deformed children. "What seeds of destiny will sprout from within these ravaged ranks and lands where the spector of famine stalks - new Fuehrers or new lovers of liberty?" Cooperative countries listed on screen.
