    Overview

    Description
    Military convoy of the Second Battalion of the Royal West Kent Regiment (stationed in Haifa) on the way to Qadun village. The convoy was made up of lorries, machine guns, men, officers, donkeys, cannon, and medical units with the objective to find terrorists around Attil village. Soldiers leave barracks, drive on road. Camels proceed. Convoy going through village with Arabs drawing water in BG. Villager watches convoy. Machine guns. Fields just before Attil village. Arab explains directions to Army. Convoy unloads bombs, mortars, machine guns, donkeys. Soldiers awaiting orders, eating, loading machine guns on donkeys. Lt. Col. W.V. Palmer discussing objective of officers with map of area. 02:37:25 The same military convoy searches for gangs responsible for ambushes in Sahnin village. The ambushes on transportation resulted in death to 8 Jews in 2 weeks. Soldiers repair the road for the convoy to pass over bad spot, Arab plowing with lorries in BG. View of Sahnin village prior to occupation, with Arabs watching Army from rooftops. Soldiers leave convoy and proceed uphill on foot to occupy village. 02:39:29 A Greek priest was brought to the troops instead of the head tribesman. Major Travers and officers speak to priest and other Arabs. Soldiers move to their assigned posts. An Arab is searched. Soldiers place a mortar behind village. An Arab prepares coffee for officers in his courtyard. Town with soldiers on top of hill signaling back. Soldiers drinking tea, using heliograph, returning to lorry. Retake of lorry passing over bad spot in the road.
