    LS, MS Polish sculptor Xawery Dunikowski carving clay for a monument to the Silesian insurgents. 02:25:57 CU, the number 744 tattooed on his left arm (from Auschwitz). 02:26:20 Dunikowski chiseling marble with a cigarette. 02:26:38 LS, MS Monument to the Unknown Warrior with guard parading, some ruins in BG. MS, grave covered with flowers. MS, a marble slab fixed on a pillar with the names of the great battles in which Polish soldiers took part in the West. MS, another slab with the names of the German-Russian campaign. MS, soldier parading. 02:28:03 LS, Warsaw with people, trams. LS, Russo-Polish monument with flowers at the base. Russian orthodox cathedral in BG. CU, statue of group of Russian soldiers on top of monument. MSs, the Polish inscription (sign) "To the brothers of the Red Army - To the brothers in arms who gave their life for the liberation and the independency of the Polish people, the inhabitants of Warsaw erected." CUs, three girls drawing at the foot of the wrecked city hall. LSs, CUs, of the façade of wrecked opera house. Cart passes in FG. MS, memorial erected at the main entrance of the opera house, for musicians slain by Germans. 02:34:10 Three children stand bareheaded in front of the memorial.
