    10:24:27 (Paris 522) Sec of War Patterson Decorates Gen Patton's Grave, Luxembourg, January 24, 1946 (silent). CU, cross over grave with name "George S. Patton Jr." LS, grave decorated with flowers. CU, sign, "American Cemetery, Hamm, Luxembourg." LS, Secretary of War Robert P. Patterson places wreath on Gen. Patton's snow-covered grave. MS, Patterson and two unidentified civilians standing bareheaded.

    Biography
    British barrister John Harcourt Barrington was part of David Maxwell Fyfe’s chambers before World War II and became his junior at the Nuremberg trials. He accompanied Hess from Britain to appear at the Nuremberg court. He worked with Maxwell Fyfe as part of the European Movement and at the Council of Europe in 1949, he drew up the first draft of the European Court of Human Rights. He practiced with David Maxwell Fyfe at 1 Temple Garden Chambers until 1955. He then became a County Court Judge working at Dartford Southwark and Woolwich until 1970 and lived in Kent, England.
