The interviewee, a Ukrainian woman born in 1931, discusses events in Pidgaychyky (Pidhaĭchyky), L'vivs'ka oblast', Ukraine; observing from her attic window the mass shooting of Jews brought from the Rudki (Rudky) ghetto to a ditch located near Pidgaychyky about 100 meters from her house; details on the ditch and on the shooting process, which involved Jews standing naked on a wooden plank laid across top of the ditch; comments on the appearance of Jews as they waited to be brought to the plank; details on the appearance of the ditch after the bodies were covered; the disposition of Jewish clothing; and the passing of food to ghetto inmates before the Rudki ghetto was established.
