    Interview Summary
    Magda Weigl Heath, originally of Breclav, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic), describes her childhood in Breclav, and the family's immigration to Vienna, Austria; how after the Anschluss, Magda was able to immigrate alone to England; her family returning to Czechoslovakia and what life was like for them; her father and brother immigrating to the United States; her sister joining her in England and then going to Canada; her mother's deportation first to Theresienstadt, then to Auschwitz, where she perished; and the letters her mother wrote to the family while she was in the camps.
