Collection Summary: The collection consists of two gripper pliers, correspondence, documents, photographs, and a manuscript relating to the experiences of Berthold Baer, his family, and extended family in Germany and the United States before, during, and after the Holocaust. Some of these materials may be combined into a single collection in the future.
Provenance: The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2011 and 2014 by John L. Baer, the son of Berthold Baer.
