Retired Romanian Colonel Ovidiu Anca, formerly active during WWII in Eastern Europe, discusses key events involving the 1941 Odessa massacre; the explosion which destroyed the General Headquarters of the Romanian Army in Odessa; receiving Antonescu’s orders to execute 22,500 Jewish persons from the city; methods of mass extermination of Jews from the Odessa ghetto; and atrocities committed by the fascist, antisemitic movement of the Iron Guard.
