"Hidden: The Jeruchim family Saga in France and Under the Nazi Occupation"

Memoir: 58 pages, entitled “Hidden: The Jeruchim Family Saga in France and Under the Nazi Occupation” written and illustrated by Simon Jeruchim, in English. In his memoir, Simon Jeruchim describes his family’s pre-war life in France, rise of Nazi power in France, his parents arrest and subsequent deportation to Auschwitz where they perished. Simon and his siblings Alice and Michel all survived in separate hiding places in Normandy. After the war they were reunited and placed in a children’s home with other Jewish child survivors in Cailly-sur-Eure, and then Simon later attended art school in Paris. In October 1949, the siblings immigrated to the U.S.
