Oral history interview with Taib Ferizović

Taib Ferizović, born in 1922 in Babunovici in the former Yugoslavia, describes his prewar profession as a farmer; the treatment of local townspeople by the Ustaša and German forces; the burying of Jewish victims by partisans; joining the partisans in 1943; the arrest and imprisonment of his partisan unit by German soldiers and the Ustaše; his imprisonment in different concentration camps, including Gracanica, Zagreb, Graz, and Dresden; his liberation from the concentration camp in Hamburg, Germany by American forces in 1945; and returning home in 1946.
