Consists of research material, correspondence, articles, artistic prints, and slides collected by Joseph Ansell while researching "Arthur Szyk: Artist, Jew, Pole" which was published by the Littman Library of Jewish Civilization in 2004. The collection includes photocopies of original documents and secondary source material collected from libraries and research collections regarding the life and art of Arthur Szyk, the Polish-born artist and caricaturist, who was best known for his anti-Nazi political cartoons, involvement with groups in the United States protesting for increased rescue and relief activities, and religious artwork.
