Lt. Col George Snyder collection

Consists of two boxes of original photographs, postcards, and photographic negatives displaying post-war images of Belgium, France, and Germany. Photographs also include: the liberation of Buchenwald, post-war Dachau, Landsberg prison, German and Polish POWs, refugees returning home, landscape portraits, and images of destroyed buildings and towns. The photographs were taken or collected by Lt. Col. George R. Snyder, a member of the 1348th Engineering Company, between May 1945 and 1947.
