The collection consists of a suitcase, correspondence, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of Israel Znamirowski and his parents, Mendel and Chaja, before and during the Holocaust in Warsaw and Lodz, Poland, and in the United States following their emigration in 1939 and 1940.
Provenance
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2012 by Ira and Kayla Zames.
