    Interview Summary
    Martin Travis, born July 2, 1922 in Warsaw, Poland, discusses being incarcerated in the Warsaw Ghetto with his family; being deported to a labor camp in Pruszkow and the work he performed there; being deported in July 1944 to Auschwitz by cattle car and his experiences there; being transferred to Gleiwitz III; his subsequent time in Blechhammer; being liberated by the Soviet Army in January 1945; the revenge killings after liberation; and the presence of Nazi war criminals in the United States after the war.
