Oral history interview with Anne Stern

Anne Stern discusses her family's deportation to the ghetto in Szegzed, Hungary in 1944; their subsequent transfer to Wiener Neustadt near Vienna, Austria; their transfer to Terezin (Theresienstadt); her family's recollections of these events (she was a small child during the war years with no clear personal memories); her mother's efforts to remain with her children in the ghetto, as well as the journey back to Hungary after the war; and postwar Hungary, including the 1956 revolution.
