Lissberger family papers
The Lissberger family papers contain identification and documentation papers for Moritz and Bettina Lissberger, and Moritz’ parents Emil and Klara Lissberger. Moritz and Bettina were fortunate enough to immigrate to the United States prior to World War II. Emil and Klara were transported to Theresienstadt in 1942, where Emil was killed. The collection includes primarily identification papers, such as birth and death certificates, school records, and identification cards. Also included are personal items such as photographs, correspondence, and Bettina’s school diary and memory book.
