A memoir relating to experiences in the Tarnów ghetto, Płaszów concentration camp, and Gross Rosen concentration camp
Consists of one memoir, 3 pages, in English, by Karl Diamant (now Karl Diamond), originally of Tarnów. In his testimony, Mr. Diamond describes the deportation of his parents and brother to Belzec, his own life in the Tarnów ghetto, and the death of his sister and her family, who were discovered attempting to hide. In October 1942, he was sent to Płaszów, where he worked in the cabinet shop, and eventually to Gross-Rosen and to Langenbielau. He also describes his post-war family life.
