Ita Dimant collection

Contains one memoir, 192 pages, in Polish, written by Ita Dimant, originally of Warsaw, Poland. In the memoir, she describes her three years in hiding as a non-Jew named Genowefa Zawadska in Czestochowa. She was arrested in 1943, but the Gestapo decided she was not Jewish and sent her to Germany for forced labor. She was liberated near Gerlingen, worked at Kibbutz Buchenwald, and immigrated to Israel. Also includes two sound cassettes of Ita Dimant's diary and three sound cassettes consisting of memories of survivors of the Buchenwald concentration camp.
