Arthur Baldauf (1880-1976) was born in Henderson, Kentucky to Heinrich (Henry, 1839-1916) and Josephine (1852-1891) and had six siblings: Isaias, Karoline, Morris, Regina, Nathan, and Salomon. His father immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1855. Arthur married Rhedna Mayer and had four children: Josephine, Henrietta, Jane, and Ruth. Flora Schwartz was Arthur’s cousin and Carola Goldstein was Flora's granddaughter.
