The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Programs Division ordered the microfilming of AJ 40 from the Archives nationales (France) in 1998. The U.S Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilm reels in April 1999.

This material can only be accessed in a Museum reading room or other on-campus viewing stations. No other access restrictions apply to this material.
Conditions on Use
Researchers must acknowledge in writing that the use of the microfilmed documents is governed by the principles of fair use of the Berne Convention of 1886 as amended for the protection of literary and artistic works. No document microfilmed shall be distributed on the Internet, World Wide Web or any other computer network accessible to the public without the express prior agreement of the Directorate of the French National Archives. Any commercial use of the reproduction of microfilmed documents require prior written consent of the Directorate of the French National Archives, and pay a fee for such use.
