    Provenance
    The poems, by Hans Bader, were created shortly after liberation. The poem "Arrival in Auschwitz and Reunion" was originally written in Polish. It was translated to German by the donor, Ilse Schindler. The poems were a part of a larger collections of materials donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collections Department by Ilse Schindler.
