    Source of acquisition is the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny im. Emanuela Ringelbluma (ŻIH), Sygn. 213. Rada Starszych w Czestochowie (Częstochowa Judenrat) created the records from ca. 1940 to 1942. ŻIH acquired the documents after World War II. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection from the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 1995.
