Selected records from the French National Archives – Police Générale
Contains police records, including files on national security, the General Secretariat of the Police, the campaign against "terrorism" organized by Vichy, and internment camps. The collection also includes records of the Fichier Central in the Cabinet du Directeur Général de la Sureté Nationale; correspondence and other documents confiscated from emigrants; name lists of foreign Jews arrested and interned; the personal records of various public figures; newspaper clippings; surveillance reports; and other miscellaneous documents. Surveillance reports include: Germans in France, 1920-1940; Spanish refugees in France, 1921-1940; Poles in France, 1920-1940.
