Jaroslava Řeháková, born in 1929 in Neveklov, Czechoslovakia, describes the prewar Jewish community of Neveklov; the arrival of German forces in 1939; the arrest of Sokol members; restrictions placed upon the Jewish community during the German occupation; the deportation of the Jewish community; the appropriation of Jewish owned property; the deportation of Czech civilians in 1944; the sight of Jews escaping from a train in 1945 in Senohrady, including German forces shooting at them; and how one of the escaped Jews hid in her neighbor's house.
