The collection consists of photographs as well as two letters received by Joseph Krakower and Cecile Krakower from Aron (Armand) Krakower who was interned in Pithiviers internment camp in France. Some of these materials may be combined into a single collection in the future.
Consists of three black and white photographs with inscriptions written in ink: vintage portrait image of a family in Szcezekociny, Poland, dated 1933, the couple at the center is Cecile and Aron Krakower (donor's parents); a copy of a vintage image of Cecile and Aron Krakower walking along a path, dated circa 1930, Poland; and a vintage portrait of Sara Jastremsky, donor's maternal grandmother, dated circa pre-1933, Bedzin, Poland.
The woodcut was received by Joseph Krakower and Cecile Krakower from Aron (Armand) Krakower who was interned in Pithiviers internment camp in France.
