    Interview Summary
    Eric Rosenow, born in Berlin, Germany, discusses life before the war; being an actor in theater and cinema; the banning of Jewish people from performing for Gentiles; starting an orchestra and performing for other Jews; moving with his brother in 1939 to Shanghai, China, and his parents and other brother followed shortly afterward; moving with his family into the Jewish ghetto in Shanghai, where Eric made a living performing in local night clubs; getting married after the war; immigrating with his family to the United States; and settling in Detroit, MI.
